Mental labels.... neccessary?

from what i have realised from this awesome book (Oprah thinks so too), many people in this generation are putting so much mental labels on themselves. and what do i mean by "mental labels" ?

i dentifications of course.

whatever you possess, does not define your true self.
Being the CEO in a big company does not make who you are,
Discovery of a new substance, new physics law, or any achievements does not sum up to who you are,
whether you are rich or poor, does it really matter?
does whatever talent you have make you who you are?

if Peter is smart, does it mean being smart is Peter?
or in a way you geeks may understand like i would....
ENGLISH: peter is rich, but rich is not peter
MATH: peter=handsome but handsome =/= peter
PHYSICS: you can derive a formula from p=F/A but you can't derive from anything else to give that formula
BIO: parent cell gives daughter cell, daughter cell can't smply combine to give parent cell
CHEMISTRY: Mg + 2HCl ----> H2 + MgCl2, the reaction is irreversible.

We are the initials of everything, we make achivements, money, friendship, and every other identities, but identites can't sum up to who we are.
When we are born, we are not given any identities, it's what we made up in life that gave us so many identities, that made our simple life, confusing.
and of course, to disentagle from identities, we simply have to see the true image in us.

i used to hear this line from someone,
THE PERSON: can we just go to your house instead?
ME: no, let's just stick to going to your house
THE PERSON: dun wan la.
ME: why? but your house is so big... (jokingly)
THE PERSON: i know rite...

is the house somehow making up who this person is? the person thinks that by possessing the house, the person becomes superior, and that made that person proud, full of identites, and able to gain attention, but deep inside, the house did not represent the person, but only his ego or i would call arrogance.

so what if you have talents in acting, singging, dancing, playing piano, mastering many languages, intelligent, rich, handsome, pretty or perfect?

its only when at the brink of life, that people tend to realise, that these are just merely identifications,
in an anology: these are the play of a sketch, they show out the character, but they can never substitute the character.

deep inside, we are ourself, we are our LIFE, and we are not define by what we achieved or what we possesses. be confused about who you truly are, cuz then only you will realise the actor in you, not the act.

do not become a person i know of that this person is so defined by what he/she possesses (nothing much of course but a lot of self fiction story and exaggeration to create a false identity)
so deeply unconcious that he/she tend to be using "I", "ME", "MYSELF","MINE" very much frequently.
and he/she would step people down to strenthen his/her own identites, that is to be superior that others, these people aren't guilty, they are just unconcious.

be a concious being and feel who "I AM" in you.

you are who you are, search for you inner you, not the identities you hold or mental labels you place on yourself
