Where is the rainbow?

Where was the rainbow,
the myriad colours than once beautify my life?
Where's the RED heart that i used to have? for the love i have given willingly...
Where's the ORANGE prosperity? the glory that has made me stood in success...
Where's the YELLOW sun? for the sunny smiles that used to shine onto others...
Where's the lush GREEN forest? that once outgrows with trees of wisdom...
Where's the BLUE sky? that i used to fly in freedom....
Where's the INDIGO sea? where i used to swim in happiness...
Where's the violet love.... that i once have?

Its a world of grey shades now... all variant colours has fallen... fallen out of its place...

Hasty time...

The wind chimed in a melodious tune, while splinters of rain drops beats in a rhythmic percussion band. A warming silk blanket wraps the body of a young boy that crouched like a new born in the comforting hug of the mattress. It was the perfect situation to fall into deep slumber, with the sweetest dream swirling around in his subconscious mind. But, something has kept him awake, a feeling, a thought, or perhaps a struck of pain and fear that pollutes the serenity of the moment and ripped the comfort out of the boy.
It was no more than the ticks and tocks of the great grandfather clock that stood sturdy at the corner of the room that had caused all this. Though a series of stories on phantoms, shadows or monsters would sound slightly more logical, but it was the endless flow of time that had kept the boy awake. He realised how he had "jump" through time with just blink of an eye; it feels as if yesterday he was still lingering the coast line of the lapis lazuli sea with his fellow classmates. As if a turn of head ago, he enjoyed the flickering sapphire lights of the rare bioluminescent plankton by Lang Tengah. And as though it was still a moment ago that he strolled around in SS15 interacting with a bunch of mad friends.

An old adage once mentioned " time waits for no man", if time had waited for him, he would have appreciated more, but life hasn't invented a "take two". He could not help but brimmed his mind with ample remorse. He knew he could have had more to experienced when he had a brother if he hadn't just treasure his EGO more than friendship, he knew he could have a family he hadn't been so pessimistic, and he knew he could have made everything much wonderful if he hadn't just think too much. And ironically, he still does.

As the pain deepens, he could barely breathe. Tears began to welled up around his eyes, and soon cascade downs his cheeks as the eyes could not hold much more. Sliding his face across the cushy bolster, he wiped his tears away and mumbled... "too hasty"
